Personal Support Workers (PSWs)

Audmark Inc. is a trusted Ontario-based provider of healthcare staffing and support services, and a Vendor of Record with Supply Ontario for Personal Support Worker services. We are committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to the clients and communities we serve. As we continue to grow, we are seeking dedicated and qualified Personal Support Workers to join our team.

The Role

As a PSW with Audmark, you will provide essential personal care and support that helps clients live with dignity, comfort, and independence. You may be placed in long-term care homes, retirement residences, community settings, or private homes, depending on availability and your preferences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Support clients with feeding, medication reminders, and personal hygiene
• Assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and household tasks as required
• Observe, document, and report changes in clients' condition to the appropriate staff
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Follow individualized care plans and maintain client confidentiality and dignity at all times

Requirements

PSW Certificate from a recognized Ontario program (NACC certification an asset)

• Valid CPR-C and First Aid certification
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
• Up-to-date immunization records (including TB test) and proof of COVID-19 vaccination as required by placement sites
• WHMIS certification an asset
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and observation skills
• Compassionate, reliable, and professional demeanour
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and overnights
• Eligibility to work in Canada
• Reliable transportation is an asset
